Valentino Rossi is considered to be one of the greatest Motor-cycle racers of all time. With nine World Championships, Rossi is still one of the top riders in the world and capable of winning title number ten before he retires. Rossi has won across all racing categories, the 125cc in 1997, the 250cc in 1999, the 500cc in 2001 as well as the MotoGP class in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2008 & 2009.

Valentino Rossi arrived at his home grand prix in Italy with a Hawaiian inspired theme. His Nastro Azzuro NSR 500cc sponsored Honda looked the part, along with Rossi’s race leathers, helmet and team who were all decked out in similar fashion. Led by Technical Director Jeremy Burgess, the race itself was red flagged due to poor conditions and then restarted. In race 1, Rossi managed to fight with the front runners but the wet track conditions saw Rossi crash on the way to the grid. He was unhurt and managed to start the second race (which was now being judged on aggregate timing to decide the outcome) on a new bike. Again, after some strong fighting towards the front Rossi lost the front end and crashed again whilst overtaking Loris Capirossi.

This official team issued Energie branded shirt was used during this special race weekend by one of his team members. In perfect condition, it has been personally signed by both Valentino Rossi and Technical Director Jeremy Burgess.

This shirt is backed by an Autographed Collectables 100% Guarantee of Authenticity.
