The Italian rider who is also known as “Pecco” made his Grand Prix debut in 2013. He is the 2017 Moto2 Rookie of the Year and was crowned the 2018 Moto2 World Champion while racing with SKY VR46. He moved to MotoGP with Pramac Ducati in 2019 and in 2021 moves up to the Factory Ducati Team to race alongside Jack Miller.
An extremely quick racer, Pecco could be the Italian MotoGP Champion that Ducati have been searching for. His start to the 2022 season has been a challenging one and it was not until the 6th round in Jerez that everything came together. A blistering lap to secure Pole Position, with Fabio starting from 2nd on the grid. Pecco looked unstoppable, he led for the entire race and was in scintillating form.
