The Italian rider who is also known as “Pecco” made his Grand Prix debut in 2013. He is the 2017 Moto2 Rookie of the Year and was crowned the 2018 Moto2 World Champion while racing with SKY VR46. He moved to MotoGP with Pramac Ducati in 2019 and in 2021 moves up to the Factory Ducati Team to race alongside Jack Miller.
An extremely quick racer, Pecco could be the Italian MotoGP Champion that Ducati have been searching for.
