Nigel Mansell lists the 1991 British Grand Prix held at Silverstone as one of his most memorable. Driving the Williams-Renault FW14, with the RS3 3.5 V10 engine, Mansell started from Pole Position and lead every one of the 59 lap race. He also posted the fastest lap of the race. His main rival during the race Ayrton Senna ran out of fuel on the last lap. Waving to the crowd on the slow down lap, Mansell spotted senna by his parked McLaren-Honda and proceeded to give the Brazilian a lift back to Pit Lane on the side pod of his FW14.
