Nicky Hayden nicknamed “The Kentucky Kid” was born in Owensboro, Kentucky July 30th, 1981. He began racing Flat Track at a very young age and has moved through the ranks of professional Motor-cycle racing with much success. Nicky was crowned the 2002 AMA Superbike Champion before moving to the premier class of racing “MotoGP” in 2003 with the Factory backed HRC Repsol Honda Team. Nicky won his first MotoGP race in front of his home crowd at Laguna Seca in 2005. In 2006, Nicky’s dreams became a reality when he was crowned the 2006 MotoGP World Champion at the last race of the season in Valencia, Spain. Nicky also raced with the Factory Ducati Team from 2009 – 2013 and in 2014 he moved back to Honda to race their RCV1000R machine with the Drive M7 Aspar Team.
In 2016, Nicky moved to race in World Superbikes onboard the Honda CBR1000RR with Ten-Kate Racing.
