Luca Marini made his debut in the Moto3 World Championship at the 2013 San Marino Grand Prix as a wild card. His first full season was in 2016 racing with the Forward Racing Team. Marini continues to improve every season and has raced with the SKY Racing VR46 Team since 2018. He won his first race at the 2019 Thai Grand Prix, and won again a week later in Japan.
In 2020, Marini finished the season in 2nd place, his best season to date. In 2021 Luca moves up to the MotoGP to race with the SKY VR46 Avintia Racing team.

The gloves are the design he wore in 2020, and produced that same year. But due to limited production and additional quantities of the 2021 design, as confirmed by Luca he continued using this style during 2022.
