At age 5, Juan had his first drive, first race and first win in a karting competition. Moving his way through the various racing categories, he reached F1 in 2001 racing with BMW Williams. During his debut season, Juan had his first race win in Italy. Juan has been a consistent driver for the Williams Team finishing 2001 in 6th place and in 3rd place at the conclusion of the 2002 & 2003 seasons.
