Dan Gurney is a retired American Racing driver, race car constructor and team owner who competed at the highest levels of racing since 1958. He is only the third driver to have won races in the Indy Car, Nascar, Can-Am and Trans-Am series. With his victory at the 1967 Spa GP in the Weslake V12 powered Eagle Mk1 “All Anglo Racers” team, Gurney became the first American driver to win in an American designed car.
