Chad Mark Reed was born on the 15th of March 1982, in Kurri Kurri, Australia. He is a multi-time supercross and motocross champion and the record holder for most main event starts in AMA Supercross history, with 228 starts as of 2018, with his career spanning almost 20 years. He was taught from a young age as being capable of competing at the sports most elite level. Chad Reed has proven to be the most consistent supercross/motocross racer in the 2000-2009 decade, and has grown to be one of the sports most loved individuals, due to his years of experience and dedication to the sport. Chad Reed has since ascended the international ranks of the sport to become Australia’s most successful motocross racer.
Chad has four impressive titles to his name, the 2003 World Supercross Championship, the 2004 AMA 250cc Supercross World Championship, the 2008 AMA Supercross Championship and the 2009 AMA MX Championship.
Supercross made its long awaited debut at Dodgers Stadium in 2012, the third round of the AMA season. Reed and his team Two Two Motorsports were unstoppable and went onto take the victory, his first of the 2012 season. This photo captures Reed crossing the line to take this very special victory.
