Bezzecchi joined the Moto2 World Championship in 2019 racing with the Red Bull KTM Team. He was signed by Sky Racing Team VR46 for the 2020 season to race alongside Luca Marini. He has since stayed with the VR46 Team and is an official Academy racer. In 2022 Bezzecchi moved to the Mooney Racing VR46 Team to race in MotoGP, alongside Luca Marini. He picked up his first Podium, a 2nd place finish at the Assen TT and finished the season in 14th place.
In 2023 Bezzecchi’s won his first MotoGP race at the 2nd round at the Argentine Grand Prix and backed this up with another victory in LeMans 3 rounds later.
