Alain Prost is a Frenchman who won four F1 World Championships; 1985, 1986, 1989 with Marlboro McLaren and 1993 with Williams Renault. Prost won 51 races during his career and stood on the Podium 106 times, a feat very few have achieved.
Prost joined the Scuderia Ferrari Team for the 1990 & 1991 seasons. He was the first driver signed by the Italian manufacturer after the death of the team’s founder Enzo Ferrari. Alain replaced Gerhard Berger and enjoyed great success in 1990 by winning five races and finishing 2nd in the Championship, losing out to Ayrton Senna by only a few points.
