Alain Prost is a Frenchman who won four F1 World Championships; 1985, 1986, 1989 with Marlboro McLaren and 1993 with Williams Renault. Prost won 51 races during his career and stood on the Podium 106 times, a feat very few have achieved.

Prost joined McLaren for the 1984 season and continued with them for 6 seasons. In 1985 he became the first French F1 World Champion, his performance earning him the Legion d’honneur distinction in France.
